NPL Ticket Booking 2026: eSewa Steps, Refunds & FAQ

Updated Mon, 26 Oct 2026

Ticket questions spike before every NPL match day, and several pre-sale guides published before the official announcement are now out of date. This FAQ answers the most-searched booking questions with what the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced on 22 October 2026. For the price table and a quick buying guide, see NPL 2026 ticket price & how to buy.

Where can I book NPL 2026 tickets?

Only on eSewa, which holds the Season 3 ticketing rights (a deal reported at Rs 85 lakh). Tickets for the Nepal Premier League are not sold through Khalti or other wallets, and stadium box-office sales have not been confirmed, so treat any other seller as unofficial.

NPL ticket kasari kinne? (How do I buy a ticket?)

1. Update the eSewa app and log in.
2. Search NPL (or open Travels & Ticketing).
3. Pick the match from the list; check the date and start time against our NPL 2026 schedule.
4. Choose General or Premium and the number of tickets.
5. Pay from your eSewa balance or linked bank.
6. Save the QR code from your eSewa statement or email: you exchange it for a physical ticket at the venue before the match.

General, Premium or VIP: what’s the difference?

CAN announced two categories: General (Rs 500 for league games, Rs 1,000 for the Eliminator and Final) and Premium (Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000). Some sites label the higher tier “VIP”; it is the same Premium ticket. There are no separate stand-by-stand prices and no special double-header pricing.

Is there an NPL season pass?

Yes. The season pass costs Rs 15,000 and covers every match at Kirtipur. Older guides written before 22 October say season passes were “not announced”; that is no longer true. Against single tickets it only pays off for regulars: about 30 of the 32 matches at General prices, or about 15 at Premium prices (Rs 1,000 a game).

Does one ticket cover both matches of a double-header?

Book each match separately unless eSewa’s listing says otherwise. Double-headers start at 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM NPT; see match timings.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds and cancellations follow eSewa’s terms for the event, so read them before you pay. If a match is washed out, check eSewa and CAN’s official channels for what applies. Rain-affected results are explained in our points table guide.

What should I take to the ground?

• Your eSewa QR code (screenshot it in case of weak signal) and a photo ID.
• Time to spare: physical tickets must be collected before the start.
• Our Kirtipur venue guide for getting there.
