NPL 2026 Schedule: Dates, Match Timings in Nepal Time

Updated

The third season of the Nepal Premier League runs from 26 October to 21 November 2026. Every match is played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The full, always-current fixture list with results is on our NPL 2026 schedule page.

What time do NPL matches start?

Single-match days have one evening game. On double-header days the first match starts at 12:30 PM NPT and the second at 5:00 PM NPT under lights. Playoff matches start at 4:30 PM NPT. Nepal Time is UTC+5:45, so a 5:00 PM start is 4:45 PM in India, 11:15 AM in the UK and 10:15 PM in Sydney (AEDT).

Why the evening times changed

The league revised the evening slot on 20 October 2026, a week before the opener, after the Decision Review System (DRS) was added for Season 3. Reviews make matches longer, so the second game of a double-header needed more room. Some pages published before that date still show the old times. Our schedule follows the official fixture data and updates automatically.

League stage and rest days

Eight teams play a single round-robin: 28 league matches. Rest days fall on 30 October and 4, 8, 11, 16 and 20 November.

Playoff dates

Playoff games start at 4:30 PM NPT. How teams qualify is explained in our points table and NRR guide. Follow the race live on the points table.
