Prize money breakdown
| Finish | Prize (NPR) | In words |
|---|---|---|
| Champion | 15,000,000 | Rs 1.5 crore |
| Runner-up | 8,000,000 | Rs 80 lakh |
| Third place | 4,000,000 | Rs 40 lakh |
| Fourth place | 3,000,000 | Rs 30 lakh |
That is Rs 3 crore across the four playoff teams. Third and fourth are decided by the playoffs: the Eliminator loser finishes fourth and the Qualifier 2 loser third. The format is explained in our points table and playoffs guide.
Who has won it before?
Janakpur Bolts won the first prize in 2024 and Lumbini Lions in 2025. Sudurpaschim Royals have collected the runner-up cheque twice. See the full NPL winners list.
Why it matters
The bigger purse comes with a bigger stage: the ICC sanctioned the league in October 2026, so Season 3 is the first with official status, and it is the first with DRS. Track who is on course for the money on the points table.
